These clients moved in from out of town to a new house with large, unruly landscape and a hump in the backyard. The clients wanted a safe place for all of the kids in the neighborhood to be able to play together while the adults sat on the back porch and enjoyed each other’s company. For the play structure, our crews graded and leveled the ground, installed the wood border and bark, and put together the play structure. One unique feature is the wood used for the border around the play structure. It is called restorative juniper and is reclaimed juniper that is an invasive species in Eastern Oregon that is cut down and turned into lumber.
